Big Brother 'forced to DEMOLISH iconic house due to drunken chaos and failed James Bond twist'
Big Brother bosses are reportedly being forced to dismantle and move the iconic house to a new location ahead of the new series.
According to The Sun filming at it's current North West London base, the home for both the main and celebrity reboots, is being disrupted by drunken revellers on the nearby canal.
A source said: 'During filming of the most recent series' they found that quite a few barge and boat users on the canal were pulling up and being quite lairy which disrupted filming'.
Going on to reveal that the location was actually chosen for its adjacent waterway so that the housemates could enter dramatically on speed boats in James Bond style.
However the source said: 'But then they found out it wasn't a river but a canal with a maximum speed limit of 4mph so the idea was abandoned.'

A source revealed the location was actually chosen for it adjacent waterway in order for housemates to enter dramatically on speed boats similar to a James Bond movie - until bosses learned of the canal's speed limit (Daniel Craig, L, and Rory Kinnear, R, pictured in Spectre)
It also claimed that despite ITV2 not yet recommissioning the reality show, bosses were so confident they were already planning the move.
ITV declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.
Producers created a brand new house for the reboot of the show after the original house at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, was demolished in 2019.
The Big Brother house had been the site for the series since its third season in 2002.
The groundbreaking show - which first aired in the UK in 2000 - was originally shot at a house in Bow, London.
Unaware of how popular the show would be, bosses Channel 4 - who broadcast the series at the time - had not acquired planning permission for more than two years, which is when it relocated to Elstree Studios ahead of it's third season.
With the move came upped security, after a break-in took place in 2001. The show was cancelled by Channel 4 in 2010, and aired its final celebrity, civilian and 'Ultimate' season. But a year later, Channel 5 relaunched it, at the same studios.
In 2016, a planning application to Hertsmere Borough Council hinted that production company Endemol would be extending the famously-cramped house.

The most recent Celebrity series returned in March, six years after it was last broadcast on Channel 5 and ITV bosses spared no expense on making the property a five star experience for the pampered celebs.
The house, which was home to 16 civilians in the rebooted series last year, was given a starry makeover and turned gold in preparation for its new arrivals.
The interior of the house features an open plan layout with the kitchen, dining area and seating area for the evictions all in one room with accents of gold to mark the housemates' celebrity status dotted around the sprawling property.
The house put sustainability at the forefront, with an outdoor water tank collecting rainwater that will fill the jacuzzi.
In previous years, the smoking area had been a fixture of house chat and gossip, but this year, it was kept away from the cameras, with just a microphone to pick up on any dramatic discussions.
This year's house also features a cheeky nod to its reality TV rival Love Island, with the inclusion of an outdoor fireplace.
